Blogging Novice

I'm still a bit of a blogging novice, and that's fine with me.
I'm guessing doing two in a day is not the norm, but hey ho; my day was that good.
Neil and I went on the aforementioned trip down to the embankment where we got some bacon baguettes and cups of tea from ''borrowed money''. Basically we were walking through town heading to the embankment with our guitars (uke and acoustic) and i spotted a £20 note floating around. It had looked as if the man in front had dropped it, but not entirely sure due to the windy conditions we treated ourselves - and so begun the day of borrowed money. We started writing our first song, sadly absent of Jay who was and probably still is too fucked from Reading to even find the train to get to us in Bedford. Another thing that is note worthy is that today Neil had his last pack of cigarettes, a tidy little pack of silk cut's. This blog entry, if for nothing else is to stand testament to Neil's final attempt to quit smoking - and i have no doubt in my little mind that he will :) We also had a lovely few games of pool in the Bear, which i intend and hope becomes a regular thing now, simply because Neil basically just taught me pool, and how to hold the cue properly etc. in addition to this i'd like to point out that we met a lovely little lass called 'Louise' and she played for a pool team. I almost beat her - it came down to the 8 ball. Saying that Neil did really well too, so fair play to her. When we saw her whip out her own cue (the only meaning detracted should be the obvious and correct) we both thought 'shit, she's going to hand our arses to us on a little plate'; but we did wonderfully. All in all, it's been a really, really nice day and as i've said it's something I'd like to make a fairly regular occurrence. Oh and this Neil guy? I'm really starting to like him.
